Due to censorship, Japan is infamous for using a wide variety of stand-ins for the phallus. The use of tentacles for example has a long history, dating back to the 19th century when Edo period artist Hokusai was one of the first to depict tentacle erotica with The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife, and the following sub-genre of women engaging in sexual activity with sea creatures.

In what appears to be porn that only a locksmith can appreciate Door Knob Girl has appeared on the scene, and bless her E. coli licking heart. Door Knob Girl is a website gone viral that features, you guessed it, a collection of photos of girls licking doorknobs.

It begs the question – has Door Knob Girl been spawned by all of the pixelation and mosaicing required by the Japanese censorship laws to obscure genitalia in Japanese pornography or is she just another one of those “Only in Japan” fetishes? According to it’s creators – artist Ryuko Azuma and photographer Ai EharaDoor Knob Girl is simply psychosexual art.

When the brutal humidity of a sultry Japanese summer starts to pack a punch and you struggle to endure the sweltering heat trapped in your energy-conserving office or crammed on a crowded peak hour train, it’s time to unwind pool side at Tokyo Summerland where you can have a relaxing splash in the peaceful tranquility of their abandoned wave pool. Hurry now whilst there is still space in the pool in the upper left corner.

Don’t forget to check out the Mexican wave pool action in the embedded video below.

He rocked the house with the Summer 2010 edition with a groove so funktagious that he is here to do it all again. Check out my submission from last year: Beers, beaches and bikinis.

The Upskirt Judo Guy

“O-Nep!” was a late night comedy show by the Japanese comedy trio Neptune featuring Taizo Harada, Ken Horiuchi (aka Horiken) and Jun Nagura. The trio name comes from the Kinnikuman character, Neptuneman. The show had a segment called “Your wish will be fulfilled! The travelling Nepu throw” which I like to affectionately refer to as “The Upskirt Judo Guy” because that just about sums it up.

The Upskirt Judo Guy

The way that the segment broke down was Taizo Harada would dress in wrestling gear usually in a public location with a lot of young, female spectators. He would run into the crowd, grab a mini-skirt wearing female, and perform a tomoe-nage judo throw, flipping the girl over his head and onto a wrestling mat, exposing her underwear with a cameraman conveniently poised to zoom in on the girls panchira. If by an unfortunate accident there was no glimpse of underwear for the audience to view, not to worry. In this rare instance they send another from the trio who pries the girls legs until satisfactory exposure has been achieved for the camera.

Refer to the following embedded video for a few highlights of the show. This show was apparently taken off air because one of the girls that the The Upskirt Judo Guy flipped wasn’t wearing any underwear. The second embedded video shows the footage of this incident.
