Flow Nuts Bang!!!

FLOW, a Japanese rock band formed in 1998, have released their latest album “Nuts Bang!!!”. As my buddy Nate said: “which evil gaijin translated that album title?”

As it turns out, it is supposed to be interpreted as “Natsu Bang(u)” – or “Summertime Explosion”. Hmmmm, supposedly.

Hibi no Neiro

Really cool video clip and not a bad song either. The band is Sour singing ‘Hibi no Neiro’. The clip is a well orchestrated compilation of webcam footage from fans of the band.

Lifetime Respect

Lifetime Respect by Miki Douzan would have to be my favourite j-reggae track.

It’s is kind of a romantic reggae song sang in a gangster way. In the lyrics you hear isshou issho ni ite kureya which loosely translates as ’stay with me forever’.
