I see how most of them can be bad. The felicia is not that bad the girl is bigger but it could be a lot worse. With the black Naruto it is like saying that black people cannot cosplay I can only think of a handful of options.
I think that the black Naruto is a fail because Naruto is white. It’d be like me trying to cosplay as Akagi Takenori, just wouldn’t work no matter how hard I tried.
so what you are saying is that anyone other than Whites or Asians should be allowed to cosplay, although there is a definite lack of black characters available.
nah man, i don’t recall mentioning who can and can’t cosplay. don’t take it down the race path. am i sexist because i think that the wookie at #1 sailor moon (above) is a fail? it’s a dude with a beard playing a chick in a school girls’ uniform!
anyone can cosplay to their hearts delight. go crazy. knock yourself out. but if you are going to try and imitate your favourite character and you don’t pull it off for whatever reason (i.e. wrong sex, wrong race, too fat/skinny, too tall/short etc) then i am free to express my opinion on whether i think that is a fail or not. and that is all this is.
