A while back I posted Japanese Doggy Style, the picture that told a thousand words, a thousand words too much.
Anyways after a bit more research I discovered that this image was derived from a challenge on Takeshi’s Castle, a Japanese game show that aired from 1986 to 1989 featuring the Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and sets up impossible challenges for players to get to him.

Tosa Dog vs Human
This particular challenge was called ‘Tamanade Matsuri’ (玉なで祭り), or ‘touching the testicles festival’ (for a loose translation), where men seemingly let themselves be violated by the Japanese fighting dog, the tosa dog.

The video footage of ‘Tamanade Matsuri’ is broken into three parts below. Is this challenge plain wrong or simply just pushing the limits?

No matter how cool Japan is with it’s technology, food and ideologies and more, they can’t be used in an argument of how great Japan is, because of this.
hey will, true, the images look disturbing but in the context of the embedded vids, imho, it just another game show that is pushing the boundaries (probably crossing them) in search of the shock value to win viewers.
I know there’s plenty of other on the edge Japanese shows out there, but I’m just saying is that this is how majority of the world views Japan, for all the crazy and weird stuff that comes out of Japan and not the good things.
I’d imagine that this is a torture tactic used in a prison somewhere in the world.

funny and weird
Hilarious. Bless the Japanese…I think…
I’m surprised something like this was on television. Just goes to show how different the cultures are in terms of what is acceptable for mass public consumption. There are, of course, those out there that would do this for enjoyment, even without the lure of a prize.
