After becoming the Terminator but before becoming the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger does television commercials in Japan. The vid below is a collection of around 30 Japanese television commercials Arnie did in the 90′s.
Schwarzenegger features in advertisements for Suntory’s ‘West’ canned coffee, carbo loads on Nissin’s Cup Noodles and does weird things with the ‘genki’ drink Alinamin V from Takeda Chemical Industries (which is weird in itself – a health drink by a chemical company. hmmmmm…)

The first instance of tentacle eroticism (aka squid porn) is largely attributed to legendary Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai who created an erotic woodcut of the ukiyoue (‘pictures of the floating world’) genre around 1820 called The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife (aka ‘Pearl Diver and Two Octopuses’) depicting a woman entwined sexually with a pair of octopuses.

Anyways after a bit more research I discovered that this image was derived from a challenge on Takeshi’s Castle, a Japanese game show that aired from 1986 to 1989 featuring the Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and sets up impossible challenges for players to get to him.
