Back in 2003 Visa kicked off it’s Rugby World Cup advertising campaign featuring ex-Wallaby John Eales trying to board a crowded train in Tokyo.
The advertisement is a parody of the Japanese ‘train crammers’ who are renowned for wearing white gloves and stuffing people into already crowded trains. Eales uses his own Rugby prowess to do a bit of cramming of his own. Check the video below.

Fortunately, I’ve never been part of the train crammer process, though I must say that 6PM Tokyo trains are C.R.O.W.D.E.D.
yeah, apparently he is 2 metres tall (or 6 ft 6+1⁄2 inches).
i can imagine that train crammer trains would be a chikan haven. i bet that the dude with the white gloves is constantly blamed for those ‘accidental’ gropes.
