We recently treated Ash-kun with a trip to Universal Studios Japan. Located in Osaka, and opened in 2001, it is the first Universal Studios to be opened outside of the US.

Getting there we took the JR Osaka Kanjo Line from the JR Osaka Station. At Nishikujo we had to change to the JR Yumesaki line destined for the Universal City Station. Once we alighted from the train, we just followed the crowd to the theme park.

Ash-kun’s favourite rides for the day were:

• E.T. Adventure
• The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man The Ride
• Shrek’s 4-D Adventure
• Back to the Future – The Ride
• Terminator 2:3-D

He also had fun in Snoopy Studios, Jurassic Park, Peter Pan’s Neverland, Amity Village and the Land of Oz.

All in all, we had a great day and it was well worth the visit.
